KBr Fundación MAPFRE: Entry Ticket

Discover KBr Fundación MAPFRE Barcelona Photo Center, a space dedicated exclusively to artistic and documentary photography and one of the leading photography centres in Barcelona.

Covering approximately 1,400 m², KBr features two exhibition galleries, a bookshop, an educational activity area and a multipurpose auditorium. Its programme brings together great masters of 20th-century photography, internationally renowned contemporary photographers and important collections of historical photography.

The name KBr refers to the chemical formula for potassium bromide, traditionally used in analogue photography, reflecting the centre’s commitment to connecting photographic heritage with contemporary creation.
